Pink Programming invites you to a unique evening together with one of Scandinavia’s tech giants, Spotify! Join us at Spotify’s roof terrace in Stockholm for a techy and mingly evening!

We will not only enjoy a beautiful view over the city. We will also learn from the experience of Tânia, a Spotify Software Engineer, who knows that a career in tech is not always a straight road, and the importance of learning from our mistakes. On top of that, Spotify's Early Career Team will talk to us about the opportunities that they offer for a career in IT!

What I wish I knew when I decided to be a Software Engineer

The path to become an expert in a particular technology is not a straight road. During the course of our careers we are constantly learning. New technologies become available, new methodologies are created, but most importantly, we keep learning from our mistakes. In this talk, I’ll give an overview of my career path and I’ll share some of the lessons I’ve learned throughout the years.

Tania - Senior Design Systems Mobile Engineer, is an Android Engineer and she works as a Senior Mobile Design Systems Engineer at Spotify. She has been working on Android for over a decade and in the last 5 years in mobile design systems. She is passionate about user experience and loves to craft on her free time. Recently, she became the organiser of Let’s Knit, a Stockholm Meetup group for fiber art enthusiasts.

The Global Early Career Team works with early career recruitment and our mission is to attract top-notch, diverse talent through engaging student events and programs. We position ourselves as an employer of choice by exposing and engaging talent into the brand and culture of Spotify. We offer different programs that give students and newly graduates the opportunity to launch their careers in Tech and Business. The programs we offer are Global Summer Internship, Tech Fellowship, Rotational Product Management, Financial Analyst Rotation and Aspiring Marketing Professionals.
